The constant interplay of showers and sunlight in northwest Scotland create the ideal conditions for rainbows, and it’s rare to go a day without seeing at least one. Our first day on Skye, we were welcomed by this beautiful double rainbow, near Glengrasco. The clouds and light were moving quickly, and this scene lasted little more than a minute. Fortunately, that was long enough to pull the car over and put a fisheye lens on the camera, so I could capture the entire, oddly lit scene.
